Membership
The Glenorchy City Bowls Club welcomes enquiries from prospective new members regardless of whether you are a new, novice or experienced bowler. Coaching and mentoring is readily available for all players of all abilities.
The Club offers different styles of membership to suit your needs.
Full Member
Membership includes full participation in both outdoor bowls and indoor carpet bowls pennant competitions as well as ready access to all Club facilities and amenities. Substantial discounts are offered for the first year of membership and for all junior full members. The first year membership fee covers new bowlers and bowlers coming from other clubs.
Social Playing Member/Indoor Bowls Member
Membership covers use of the bowling green with social playing members permitted to play in club social events but not allowed to play pennant bowls or in Club Championships. Social Playing Members have access to clubroom amenities.
Indoor Bowls Member
Membership covers full participation in indoor carpet bowls pennant competitions that are held throughout the year as well as access to clubroom amenities.
Social Member
For a very modest cost these members have access to clubroom amenities at designated times.
All members can also request the use of the Clubrooms for private functions. The Clubrooms can also be made available for hire by non-members for private functions.
