Bowls South Women’s B-Grade Champion of Champions Winner

Congratulations to Yvonne Woodward who won the Bowls South BTS Champion of Champions tournament on Friday night.

The Champion of Champions tournament pits the winners of the singles events from all clubs against each other and is played in a knockout format.

On the first night of play (Wednesday), Yvonne defeated Marlene Eaton St John’s Park 21 -7 and Glenice Pearson (Buckingham) 21 – 11.

Friday night saw her victorious in her semi final against Gail Andersson (Sandy Bay) 21 – 10 before defeating Shirley Calvert (Howrah) in the final 22 – 8.

Unfortunately Men’s Singles Champion, Greg Munday, was defeated in his first round game.
